St Elphin's Park started life as a private house, becoming a spa in the 19th century and latterly a well-known girls' boarding school. Our retirement village is on a 44-acre site adjacent to the village of Darley Dale, just down the road from Matlock and Bakewell.
We're restoring the neglected Victorian stone buildings and creating 130 attractively designed homes. The results combine the Gothic grandeur of the original spa with a development that echoes the appeal of a traditional Derbyshire hamlet.
