Audley Binswood, the luxury retirement village in Leamington Spa, has raised a grand total of £503.26 for the British Heart Foundation and Sport Relief, following a weekend of activity.

Audley Binswood was set the task of completing a full distance triathlon, consisting of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile cycle and a 26.2 mile run over the course of the weekend. However, owners, staff and members of the local community broke through this target, clocking up an impressive 164 miles in total. With a range of activities, including Pilates and dances classes, the team at Audley Binswood swam 4.8 miles, ran 36 miles and cycled 124 miles.

As part of Britain’s aim to get the nation active, Sport Relief is a national event to get people moving for a good cause. It encourages everyone to get involved in any way they can from sponsored runs, swims and cycles to taking part and donating to Sport Relief-run events. The money raised at Audley Binswood will be split between British Heart Foundation and Sport Relief.
