On 19th May 2016, Audley Chalfont Dene was officially opened at a VIP reception held by CEO Nick Sanderson, and Baroness Sally Greengross OBE.

Attended by more than 250 guests, including local dignitaries Cheryl Gillan MP, Councillor Linda Smith, Chairman of the Chalfont St Peter Parish Council and Mimi Harker OBE, Chairman of Chalfont District Council, the opening ceremony celebrated the new village in true Audley style.  A champagne reception was followed by a delicious lunch served on the sunny terrace while a string quartet played in the marquee.

Nick Sanderson said: “We are immensely proud to open Audley Chalfont Dene to a new generation of owners and the surrounding community of Chalfont St Peter. For the team involved this has been a very exciting project: Chalfont Dene is surrounded by incredible countryside, and yet is the very first Audley village to be on a tube line."

With 70% of the the village’s properties sold already, Audley Chalfont Dene has seen great demand from over 65s looking for an independent and luxury environment for their retirement, showing the continued need for innovative and high quality retirement living options.
