Audley Clevedon employees Angela Nicholson, Jodie Black and Alex Steele, have all received recognition for their outstanding contributions to the luxury retirement village in the Yorkshire Dales, at Audley Retirement Villages’ annual awards ceremony.

Angela Nicholson, who is Food and Beverage Supervisor at Audley Clevedon was presented with the ‘Hospitality Star’ award in recognition of being a true team player, hardworking and reliable. Jodie Black was named ‘Care Star of the Year’ for always going the extra mile and providing a consistently high standard of care, and finally Alex Steele’s helpful and conscientious nature led the judges to name him ‘Back of House’ on the night.

Angela said: “I’m so proud to have been given the award. I love working at Audley; it’s a really lovely community to be a part of. It’s been a rewarding challenge, learning new skills and building a career here, but it is such a welcoming environment I’ve always felt very well supported.”

Jodie said: “It’s such an honour to receive this award as recognition for my work. My role is fundamentally about ensuring everyone is happy and well-looked after and it’s lovely to see that people feel I’m achieving these goals.”

Alex said: “The variety of the work I do and people I’ve met have made my job really rewarding. Cooking is my passion and creating delicious food is more of a hobby than a job and I look forward to going to work at Audley every day.”
