Joined by local businesses and officials, including Gisela Stuart, former MP for Birmingham, Edgbaston, Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley, officially broke ground on the Audley St George’s Place luxury retirement village. This marks the first step in renovating the Royal School for the Deaf and the building of 95 new properties for the over 55s.

Located in the heart of Edgbaston, Audley St George’s Place will offer a high quality mix of 95 apartments and cottages for over 55s. It will also give owners the chance to live close to a vibrant and bustling town centre, while offering beautiful and secure living in retirement.

The development will be centred around the Audley Club – the renovated Royal School for the Deaf. It will offer facilities to rival any boutique hotel in the area, including a swimming pool, restaurant, bar/bistro and spa, which will be accessible to both owners and the neighbouring communities. Work on the development will be complete by Autumn 2016.
