Local dignitaries and Audley residents will attend a ground breaking event to celebrate the building of Padgett Court at Audley Clevedon on Thursday 5th July. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the luxury Audley village, which includes a restaurant, bistro, leisure facilities and pool. This will be a chance to look inside one of Yorkshire’s finest retirement villages, which sits in the village of Ben Rhydding, two miles from the historic spa town of Ilkley.

Padgett Court marks the third phase of a five stage build at Audley Clevedon, which is expected to be completed in July 2013. Padgett Court will consist of 28 one, two and three bedroomed apartments. The site is situated within a 23-acre estate that boasts a variety of wildlife and offers panoramic views of the Yorkshire Dales countryside.

Audley Retirement Villages enable residents to live an independent and healthy later life in their own homes in a like-minded community with access to the Club’s facilities and flexible care packages.

The ground breaking event, for invited guests, will begin with a champagne reception at 11.30am, followed by a buffet lunch at 12.30pm.

Nick Sanderson, CEO Audley Retirement, said: “Opening the doors to the third phase of Audley Clevedon, marks another step towards the final unveiling of the completed village. We are delighted to be able to offer a wide range of apartments at Padgett Court, complete with wonderful facilities for the local community.”

While the ground breaking event is invitation only, those wishing to find out more about the new development and to arrange a visit should contact Melanie Scott on 01943 601964 or email melanies@audleyretirement.co.uk.
