Phew! Two of Kent's most easily recognisable listed buildings are no longer at risk.

English Heritage has removed both Mote House in Mote Park, Maidstone, and Hadlow Tower from its At Risk register.

Mote House has been transformed by Audley Homes into apartments for the over-55s. And the Hadlow Tower was refurbished by builders Mansells to turn it into holiday-let accomodation.
