On Tuesday the 10th, Richard Petrik, Village Manager at Audley Chalfont Dene planted the first of a row of four trees as part of the Plant 100 trees local campaign. Set up by Chalfont St Peter Parish Council, the initiative will see 100 street trees planted over the next five years at a number of locations across the village, including Chalfont Common. Planted every growing season, the trees help to reduce air pollution, improve the health of the local community and support the prevention of localised flooding.

Richard Petrik, Village Manager at Audley Chalfont Dene commented: “Throughout the construction of Audley Chalfont Dene, as with all of our villages, we have been committed to being as environmentally aware as possible. We’re extremely proud to be setting an example to others in the construction industry by supporting this scheme and to be contributing to creating a green and healthy local community.”
