Recruitment Drive at Audley Inglewood
Audley Retirement Villages to expand its expert team from the local community
The new Audley Inglewood Retirement Village near Kintbury in Berkshire is ramping up its recruitment drive as it nears opening. General Manager Thomas Graham will hold a recruitment day on Thursday January 17th from 2pm to 6pm at The Bear Hotel in Hungerford, to secure up to 30 new members of staff, from the local area, across service and hospitality roles. Successful applicants will undergo an intensive two week training programme facilitated by the Audley Academy, which is committed to raising standards and promoting excellence, before taking their place at Audley Inglewood.
The new recruits will take their place as part of a talented and expert team. General Manager Thomas Graham is ably supported by a senior team with many years of industry experience. Deputy Manager Zoe Williams, who will start in January, has extensive operational and business management knowledge alongside experience of planning and executing corporate, private and public events including high profile events for HRH Duke of Edinburgh and Government officials.
Gert Pienaar, has joined as Head Chef, responsible for the Walmesley restaurant and Blandy’s bar/bistro offering a variety of dishes using fresh produce sourced from local greengrocers, fishmongers and butchers. Gert has many years of experience in the food and hospitality industry and has previously held senior positions at Brocket Hall and The Vineyard, catering for many stars of the stage and screen.
Audley Inglewood is due to open in April, with Inglewood House as its centrepiece. Inglewood House has a long and fascinating history, from a private home to a Catholic seminary and a luxury spa. After extensive work Audley Inglewood will welcome a new generation of people to its beautifully appointed apartments. Those living in the Village will also be able to enjoy the many facilities of the Audley Club including the Restaurant, Bar Bistro, Health & Well Being Centre and swimming pool. Audley Retirement Villages enable residents to live an independent and healthy later life in their own homes and in a like-minded community, with access to the Audley Club facilities and flexible care packages.
