Binswood Hall, the home of the new luxury Audley retirement village, is to be re-introduced to the community with restaurant, bistro and health club facilities all open to the public.

Audley Binswood, the new development by Audley Retirement Villages in Leamington has announced that the Victorian Gothic Binswood Hall, once home to several distinguished schools, will welcome the community later this year when it opens theAudley Club.

The club will offer a fine dining restaurant, elegant bar/bistro and health and wellbeing centre.

Built in 1847, the Grade II Victorian Gothic Binswood Hall was inspired by Hampton Court Palace, with pattern brickwork, Bath and Caen stone dressings and projecting octagonal turrets. For much of its history it was a beacon of education in the local area, home to Leamington College for Boys amongst others, and the alma mater of distinguished alumni including Sir Frank Whittle, inventor of the jet engine, and Giles Lytton Strachey, British writer and critic.

After closing several years ago and falling in to disrepair, it has now been sympathetically restored by Audley Retirement Villages, bringing independent and luxury living to over 55s in the region.

Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley Retirement, said: “Binswood Hall is a magnificent local landmark and we are excited to be re-opening the building to buyers and the wider community, introducing a restaurant, bistro and health club.

“We are committed to providing the highest quality of service and showing the care that has gone in to the restoration of this historic building. “The restaurant and bar/bistro will serve outstanding local produce where possible and will allow people to dine and relax in truly stunning surroundings.”

Audley Retirement Villages enables those who live there to maintain an independent and healthy retirement in their own homes and in a like-minded community. They enjoy full access to the Audley Club and its range of facilities with flexible care and support available should it become necessary.

Individuals buy their home or apartment from Audley and own it on a 125 year lease.
